Privacy policy

This page explains what the official DJ MAMIN site collects for analytics and how you can stop it.

What Google Analytics 4 collects

This site uses Google Analytics 4, Google’s analytics service, to learn which songs people listen to and which pages they view, how often they do so, and in which countries and regions. It collects the pages you open, your approximate region, your device and browser type, and how you move around the site, recorded with Google Analytics cookies. Google handles this information under Google’s Privacy Policy. If you visit from the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom or Switzerland, a notice appears at the bottom of the screen when you first open the site. Besides 'Allow all' and 'Decline all', 'Choose individually' lets you decide on 'Listening analytics' and 'Ad features (Google signals)' separately. In these regions, these cookies are not used until you choose, or if you do not allow listening analytics. To change your choice, press 'Change cookie choice' at the bottom of any page.

Google signals is turned on

This site has turned on Google signals, one of the Google Analytics advertising features. When people who are signed in to a Google Account and have ad personalization turned on visit the site, Google uses the Google Analytics cookie (a first-party cookie) together with Google’s advertising cookies (third-party cookies) and similar identifiers. From this, trends in age, gender, and interests, and how people browse across several devices such as computers and phones, are summarized. The site receives only these summarized numbers, which do not identify any individual. Visits from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland are included in these summaries only if the visitor also allowed Ad features (Google signals) in the notice.

If you’d rather not be included

If you turn off ad personalization in your Google ad settings, your visits are no longer included in Google signals. To stop Google Analytics measurement itself, install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on; it stops measurement in that browser. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings.

Music players and videos

On song pages, the music player (Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, or YouTube Music) loads the selected service when you scroll near it. Other services load when you choose their tab. Music videos and LONG PLAY videos load from YouTube when you press play. Before playback, their thumbnail images are displayed from YouTube. Once loaded, each service may use cookies under its own rules.
