神の宿る道

雨上がりの参道を　一人歩く 濡れた石畳に　空が映る 鳥居の影が　心を鎮め 耳もとで　鈴の音がほどけてく 手を合わせるふりじゃなくて 今の息を　確かめる 怖さはまだ消えないけど この道が　私を呼ぶ 神の宿る道を進む 暗闇の中で　光を探す 涙の跡も　祈りに変えて 朝へと繋ぐ　今ここから 街のざわめきに　紛れた日々 優しさだけが　こぼれ落ちた 水の冷たさが　掌を覚まし 忘れた願いが　そっと戻る 揺れるのは心じゃなくて 迷いを手放す前触れ 信じることを怖がらず ひと足ずつ進む 神の宿る道は続く 傷ついたままでも　いいと歌う 答えはいつも　ここにあった 朝へと開く　今ここから 跪くほど強くなくて 叫ぶほど上手くもない それでも守りたいと願う その命の温もりを 神の宿る道を選ぶ 静けさの中で　守ると誓う 光は外じゃなく　胸に 朝へと繋ぐ　今ここから

I walk the shrine path alone after the rain The sky reflects in the rain-soaked stones The torii's shadow stills my heart At my ear, the soft bells come undone Not just pretending to fold my hands in prayer I'm feeling for the breath I breathe right now The fear still hasn't faded away But this road is calling out to me I walk the path where God resides Searching for light within the dark Even the trails of tears I turn to prayer Bound for the dawn, from here and now Days I lost in the noise of the streets Where only tenderness slipped and fell away The cold of water wakes my open palms A forgotten wish quietly returns It isn't my heart that's trembling now It's the sign that I'm letting my doubt go Unafraid to put my faith in things One step, one step, I move ahead The path where God resides goes on I sing that it's alright to stay wounded still The answer was always right here Opening to the dawn, from here and now I'm not strong enough to fall to my knees Nor skilled enough to cry it out loud And yet I wish that I could keep it safe The warmth of that living, breathing life I choose the path where God resides In the stillness I vow to keep it safe The light is not outside but in my chest Bound for the dawn, from here and now
