夏結びの鈴」は、幼い日に交わした約束と、夏祭りの夜に訪れる再会を描いた和風幻想J-POPです。
梅雨明けの朝、久しぶりに訪れた古い社。藍色の紐で結ばれた鈴が鳴ると、打ち水の石畳、朝顔、蝉時雨、縁側のスイカ、ラムネ、かき氷、浴衣、提灯、花火といった懐かしい日本の夏が目を覚ましていきます。
人混みの向こうから聞こえた懐かしい声。そして、離れていた二人の手の中で、同じ鈴の音が再び重なります。
琴、三味線、篠笛、鈴、太鼓の音色と現代J-POPの爽やかなリズムを重ね、涼しい夏風のような透明感と、再会の瞬間に広がる高揚感を表現しました。
